As Manager of Corporate Accounts for Michigan Technological University, Mike Carlson is responsible for the support and management of technology related accounts with a particular emphasis on revenues and expenses associated with technology licenses and other revenue generating programs. Mike also has responsibility for monitoring budgets across the whole Corporate Services Department.

Prior to joining Corporate Services, Mike was a Staff Assistant for Michigan Tech’s Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP), where he managed the planning and logistics for many projects held annually throughout Michigan. LTAP Centers are vital for delivering critical training for county engineers, highway superintendents, and road professionals throughout the state.

Mike also has experience in surveying, estimating, and accounting in the commercial construction industry.

Mike is a 1991 graduate of Michigan Tech, with an A.A.S. in Civil Engineering and a B.S. in Business Administration, Minor in Industrial Management.
